<p>Assured Asset Reliability Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated <strong>Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer</strong> to join our engineering team in Perth.&nbsp;</p><p>The candidate should be a qualified mechanical engineer with work experience in plant maintenance &amp; Reliability field</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><p>• Competitive salary package starting from <strong>$110,000 to $120,000 per year plus Super</strong></p><p>• Opportunity to work on advanced engineering and asset reliability projects</p><p>• Exposure to industrial systems across sectors such as mining, manufacturing and heavy assets</p><p>• Professional development and technical growth opportunities</p><p>• Collaborative and supportive engineering team environment</p><p>• Opportunity to contribute to projects that improve operational efficiency and asset performance</p><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Developing and maintaining plant maintenance strategy &amp; tactics to ensure minimum plant interruption and production losses</li><li>Establishing work management programs for maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and analysis of the shutdown and major machine overhauls</li><li>Analysing machine / equipment downtime events, and performing root cause analysis to identify key factors causing production loss, identifying and implementing preventive measures</li><li>Review and implement condition monitoring and machine asset health activities to monitor the asset condition</li><li>developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant construction and systems</li><li>Run cost optimisation project while maintaining plant reliability</li><li>Establish and update commissioning and installation procedure to ensure safety and productivity</li><li>Perform Failure Modes &amp; Effect analysis, Equipment criticality analysis and implement the strategy to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)</li><li>Develop inspection and check sheets for fixed plant and heavy mobile equipment</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.</li><li>Minimum 2 &nbsp;years of relevant industry experience</li><li>Ideally worked in mining and / or heavy asset industry</li><li>Work experience with mining processing plant and mobile assets (preferrable)</li><li>SAP and other CMMS system work experience</li><li>Solid understanding of maintenance &amp; reliability fundamentals</li><li>Hands on experience with condition monitoring and oil analysis</li><li>A leader in safety</li></ul>

<h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Prepare mechanical drawings, plans, designs and technical documentation for construction plant, machinery and equipment.</li><li>Assist Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists with the design, modification and improvement of mechanical equipment and systems.</li><li>Support the installation, assembly and commissioning of mechanical components, machinery, controls and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Select appropriate tools, equipment and materials for mechanical works and project requirements.</li><li>Inspect, test and assess mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation.</li><li>Conduct field testing and collect technical data to assess equipment performance and identify potential issues.</li><li>Perform technical calculations, analyse data and prepare technical diagrams, reports and documentation.</li><li>Assist with the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of construction plant and mechanical equipment.</li><li>Estimate material quantities, equipment requirements and associated costs for mechanical works.</li><li>Liaise with engineers, supervisors, contractors and other project personnel to support the effective delivery of mechanical works.</li><li>Ensure mechanical works and equipment comply with relevant Australian Standards, regulations, safety requirements and project specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, testing and completed mechanical works.</li></ul><h4>Skills &amp; Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or in a similar technical role.</li><li>Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, plant and hydraulic equipment.</li><li>Experience with mechanical equipment used in construction or industrial environments is highly regarded.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.</li><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and equipment manuals.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.</li><li>Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and compliance.</li></ul>
